Great show, as usual
The Dolly - A True Original Musical show at Chastain Park in Atlanta on 7/25/09 is a great, usual as. This was our 4th time seeing Dolly - A True Original Musical and he never disappoints. A bit more mellow than past releases, his new album is, so overall the show was a bit more mellow, though many of the usual up tempo numbers were there.
Perhaps there's just more Dolly - A True Original Musical fans there than in Atlanta. We were disappointed to not see the show sold out. He ALWAYS sold out the shows when we'd see him at Wolf Trap in Virginia, a larger venue than Chastain.
He and his band, Silvertone, are always great with a crowd. That said, the crowd was really into it and. Looking forward to the next time he's in town.
